TAO School
TAO School is a special education school in Madrid managed by a cooperative of professionals specializing in therapeutic pedagogy.
The school gives every student the opportunity for comprehensive personal development across maturity, learning, emotional wellbeing and personality, according to their individual needs and abilities.

Since its foundation, TAO School has maintained a horizontal organizational structure rooted in its cooperative model. Educational decisions are reached through consensus by cooperative members and the school’s entire educational staff.

Dear collaborators
On behalf of the entire TAO school community, thank you for your interest, generosity and support.
We would like to thank you for your collaboration and commitment to supporting our students. For a small institution like ours, finding resources to promote their development is not always easy, so your support means a great deal to us.
TAO is a publicly funded special education school located in La Elipa, a working-class neighborhood in eastern Madrid. We currently serve 80 students aged 6 to 22 with diverse educational needs, including autism, Down syndrome, behavioral disorders, developmental delays, ADHD and rare diseases.
Our students follow different educational programs focused on basic education, practical skills, personal autonomy and preparation for employment.
Our main goal is to support their overall development by strengthening their academic abilities, promoting independence, improving emotional well-being and helping them participate more actively in society.
We also support our students and their families with administrative procedures, social services and access to leisure activities. Our multidisciplinary team of 25 professionals works together to provide individualized attention in a safe and supportive environment.
We would also like to highlight the importance of your company’s commitment to social responsibility. Your involvement helps promote inclusion, equal opportunities and greater visibility for people with disabilities and special educational needs.
